Narrow black belt with decorative rivets

Dated 1350 - 1450 according to the maker of the buckle and strap end (Finds from England, R.Whitehead, "Buckles" strapend from Gdaňsk)

The belt is made of thick vegetable tanned beef leather with brass buckle and strap end and halfspherical posaments combined with lower rivets.

This kind of decoration is typical in contemporary depictions (for instance: https://pin.it/2W30XgU ) as well as in excavated pieces (Egan & Pritchard 1991 pg. 175).

The belt has 24 and 24 decorative rivets
