dated 1350 - 1450 (Analogically according to own research, The purse is published by Goubitz 2007, figs. 29 a,b and 39 a,b; DDT 7804.005.015)
The original on which the bag is based is exceptional for the state of preservation of almost all the tanned parts. The rectangular girdle purses of this type - with pockets accessible from the inside - is typical of the second half of the 14th to the first half of the 15th century.
The outer shell is made of vegetable tanned cowhide leather and, like the original, is fully lined with oil-tanned deerskin, which is also used for the additional coin pockets and drawstring straps. The stitching is mostly done by machine with linen thread and supplemented by hand-stitching the leather strap on the main joint.
Despite the relatively small dimensions corresponding to the original, it is possible to fit a phone with external dimensions of 17,5x7,5x1cm into the front pocket
